"Your home away from home" is located in the heart of the city of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Weary travelers have found The Sign
of the Rose Bed and Breakfast to be the perfect place to rest after a long day on the road.
The Bed and Breakfast occupies one side of our 1910 double home and we live on the other side. Because of the design
of our home, we are uniquely suited, not only for travelers, but for special events. A private parlor, dining room and kitchen
allow parents visiting college students, those attending religious events, weddings, reunions or other events, to enjoy a

distance from the Luzerne County Community College, the local Penn State Campus, College Misericordia, the Wachovia

mansion, the magnificent Luzerne County Courthouse and other historic sites or take an authentic coal mine tour. We are
within easy driving distance of Scranton and Pocono Mountain attractions.
